Privacy Policy for HTML Playground
About this policy
HTML Playground is provided by Aktyva konsaltynh technologies. This policy describes how the app handles information when you create, edit, preview, import, and export HTML and CSS projects.

Information accessed and stored
HTML Playground processes your HTML and CSS source code, project names, snippet names and code, and files you choose to import. It stores projects, snippets, a recovery copy of the most recently saved workspace, project identifiers, last-edited times, and editor preferences locally. Preferences include text size, indentation, line wrapping, autosave, and live preview settings.
On Android, this information is stored in private app storage. The browser preview version uses the browser’s local storage. Content you include in your code may contain personal information; the app treats that information as part of your project content.
The inspected application does not implement accounts, developer-operated cloud storage, analytics, advertising, tracking, or automatic reporting of your project content or usage to the developer. It does not request access to contacts, location, camera, or microphone.
How information is used
Information is processed locally to provide editing, syntax highlighting, undo and redo, page previews, formatting, basic structural checks, project and snippet management, saving, workspace recovery, and import and export. Saved preferences are used to restore your chosen editor settings. These functions do not require sending source code to an external service.
Imports and exports
The app accesses files you select through the system document picker. It reads the selected file’s name and text content to import HTML or CSS. Linked local assets are not imported.
When you export, the app writes the selected HTML, CSS, or Android ZIP archive to the destination you choose. Exported files may contain any personal information included in your source code. If you select a cloud-backed document provider, that provider may transfer or store the file under its own privacy practices. Browser exports use the browser’s download mechanism.
Preview behavior
The app’s preview blocks scripts and external resources. The Android preview also blocks network loads and navigation, and the browser preview uses a sandboxed frame with a restrictive content security policy. Form submissions are blocked. The contact form template is a layout demonstration and does not send messages.
These protections apply to the app’s preview. Exported source opened in another application or published elsewhere is subject to that environment’s behavior and any resources or functionality included in the source.
Sharing and third-party components
The inspected app does not automatically share project content or usage information with the developer, advertisers, or analytics services. No advertising, analytics, or remote crash-reporting SDK was identified in the inspected application dependencies. The app uses Kotlin and Compose libraries and Android’s WebView to provide its interface and local preview.
Android backup is enabled in the application configuration. Depending on your device and backup settings, the operating system may include app data in backups or device transfers. These services are controlled by the platform and your settings; local storage should not be understood as excluding operating-system backups.
Security
The app uses Android’s private app storage and restricts the capabilities of its page preview. The inspected source does not implement additional application-level encryption for saved projects. The browser version relies on the browser’s local-storage protections.
Although the Android manifest includes Internet permission, the inspected editing and preview functions do not implement developer-directed data transmission. Encryption in transit is therefore not applicable to those local functions. Any transfer through a document provider, backup service, or email provider depends on that service’s protections. No storage or security method can guarantee complete protection.
Import and export failures may generate local Android diagnostic logs containing exception details. The inspected app does not implement automatic upload of those logs.
Retention and deletion
Projects, snippets, preferences, and workspace recovery data remain in local storage until changed, deleted, or cleared. The app does not implement a timed retention period.
You can delete projects from the project library and delete snippets through the snippet editor. To remove all locally stored app information, including preferences and recovery data, clear the app’s storage through Android settings. Uninstalling normally removes local app storage, but operating-system backups may remain or restore data according to your platform settings. For the browser preview version, clear the site’s browser storage to remove its saved workspace.
Deleting an app project does not delete imported originals, exported files, browser downloads, or copies held by document or backup providers. Manage those copies separately through the relevant storage location or service.
For privacy or deletion questions, contact mateuszbednarski696@gmail.com. The inspected app provides no remote deletion feature, and the developer cannot directly erase projects stored only on your device. The available evidence does not establish a retention schedule for privacy correspondence or the developer’s email service.
Children’s privacy
A specific intended age range has not been established in the supplied information. The inspected app does not implement accounts, advertising, tracking, or transmission of children’s personal information to the developer. Any personal information entered into a project is handled locally as described above. A parent or guardian with privacy concerns may contact the developer using the address below.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the app or its data practices. Review the current policy made available with the app for updated information. The inspected application does not establish a separate policy-change notification mechanism.
